Uzbek President receives UN High Commissioner for Human Rights

Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted importance of further development and strengthening of constructive and open dialogue between Uzbekistan and the United Nations, as well as its agencies, including the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.

During the meeting, Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Zeid bin Ra’ad Zeid al-Hussein discussed perspective directions of collaboration.

Zeid bin Ra’ad Zeid al-Hussein affirmed readiness of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to develop long-term and systematic bilateral cooperation.
