Uzbek President attends V-Day Parade in Beijing

Chinese President Xi Jinping and his spouse welcomed the foreign leaders, government representatives and leading officials of international and regional organizations at the main gate of Forbidden City.

Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan posed for a group photo with dignitaries of foreign countries and international organizations and their spouses during the commemoration activities to mark the 70th anniversary of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.

During the Grand Parade, over 12,000 troops and 500 pieces of military equipment marched through the Tian’anmen Square and nearly 200 aircraft flied overhead in formations.
