In early February 2018, Ministry of Preschool Education of Uzbekistan and South Korean university signed a protocol on intention to open the branch of Bucheon University in Tashkent, which prepare specialists in pre-school pedagogy and psychology.

The parties discussed prospects for cooperation. In particular, issues related to granting of a land plot in the city of Tashkent for construction of the university were discussed. The sides discussed preparing the curriculum for the 3-year undergraduate programme.

The university provided educational, methodological and didactic materials to the Uzbek side.

The delegation of Bucheon University will end its visit to Tashkent on 3 March.
