Uzbek leader visited Yunusabad region and got acquainted with the construction of Yunusabad line of Tashkent underground.

Currently, the builders carried out concrete works with the length of 305 meters and installed 330 prefabricated iron-concrete structures.

More than 200 workers and engineers were involved in the work. During the construction works, they used modern technology from Germany and China. The line with a length of 2.9 kilometers is scheduled to be commissioned in 2019.

The President inspected the construction work.

The goal of all our efforts is to create convenience for people, Shavkat Mirziyoyev said. It is necessary to ensure the complementarity of metro lines and bus routes, monitor the use of public transport services by passengers and optimize its routes on the basis of analysis. It is necessary to take measures to reduce the cost of travel by increasing the number of passengers.

Uzbek leader also received information on construction of above-ground metro. The President gave instructions on improving construction, using lightweight but durable building materials, landscaping under the overpasses, introducing additional services.
