Uzbek Judo Team Wins Silver and Two Bronzes at Tashkent Grand Slam

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 28 February, the Uzbekistan national judo team added to its medal tally at the prestigious Tashkent Grand Slam by securing one silver and two bronze medals.

The standout of the day was team leader Shakhram Akhadov, who earned the silver medal. In the final of the men’s 73 kg category, he was defeated by Tajikistani judoka Orif Abdulloi, taking second place.

Another bronze went to Murodjon Yuldoshev in the 81 kg category. In the bronze medal bout, he triumphed over his compatriot Arslon Tozhiev, securing third place on the podium.

The third bronze medal was decided in an all-Uzbek duel. In the men’s 73 kg category, Muhammad Jumayev faced Elbek Tozhiev for third place. After a tense and hard-fought match, Tozhiev emerged victorious to claim the bronze medal.
