Uzbek Foreign Minister receives IOM delegation

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov and the senior regional adviser of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Manfred Profazi discussed the state and prospects for the development of cooperation on 23 January.
It was noted that Uzbekistan is not yet a member of IOM. At the same time, we have established a constructive dialogue, Uzbek specialists actively participate in events, subordinate the charter to the interests.
The sides noted with satisfaction the fruitful nature of cooperation in combating trafficking in human beings, the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
The sides confirmed mutual readiness to strengthen and develop relations, including projects for the implementation of projects.
