Uzbek FM receives special envoy of Russian President on SCO affairs

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received Special representatives of the President of Russia on affairs of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and director of Department of Asian and Pacific cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Bakhtiyor Hakimov on 9 April 2015.

Within the negotiations the sides considered interaction between Uzbekistan and Russia within the SCO, including preparations to upcoming session of the Council of heads of states and other charter bodies of the organizations.

On the same day, Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Russia held consultation on the SCO issues, which was held within the programme of cooperation between ministries for 2015.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Uzbekistan Vladimir Tyurdenev participated in the talks.
