Uzbek FM receives newly appointed envoy of Chad

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Chad to Uzbekistan with residence in Moscow Youssouf Abassalah on 11 February 2015.

Ambassador handed over his credentials, addressed to the President of Uzbekistan, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

At the meeting, the sides considered possible spheres of bilateral cooperation, including contacts with the UN and Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

Ambassador expressed gratitude to the Uzbek side for support of Chad at its election of non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for 2014-2015.

The sides considered other international issues at the meeting.
