Uzbek FM receives new Ambassador of Sudan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Sudan with residence in Baku (Azerbaijan) Mohamed Elias Mohamed El-Hag on 19 February 2015.

Ambassador handed over his credentials, addressed to the President of Uzbekistan, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

At the meeting, the sides discussed issues of Uzbek-Sudanese relations.

The sides affirmed intension of both sides to continue cooperation within the UN, Organization of Islamic Cooperation and other structures.

At the meeting, the sides also considered international problems, development of situations in some regions.
