Uzbek FM holds talks with new Ambassador of Norway
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
On 13 March 2015, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Norway to Uzbekistan with residence in Moscow Leidulv Atle Namtvedt.
Ambassador presented his credentials addressed to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the press service of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
At the talks, the sides exchanged opinion on issues of developing Uzbek-Norwegian relations.
It was noted that Uzbekistan and Norway consider each other as perspective partners in Europe and Central Asia respectively and ready to jointly expand relations based on taking into account of interests of each other.
The sides expressed for holding regularly political consultations, which will allow to initiatives on strengthening of cooperation in various areas. At the meeting, the sides also considered international and regional issues.
