Uzbek FM hold negotiations with German envoy

During the talks, the current state and prospects of development of the bilateral relations, the implementation of the agreements reached in the framework of inter-ministerial political consultations on 14-15 October 2014 in Berlin were discussed, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

The sides underlined a mutual interest in continuing the Uzbek-German dialogue and sustainable development of long-term cooperation in trade-economic, investment and cultural-humanitarian areas.

The Ambassador informed about Germany’s candidacy for non-permanent membership in the UN Security Council for the years 2019-2020.

The sides exchanged views on the schedule of forthcoming meetings at various levels and some international issues.
