About 26 companies of Uztuqimachiliksanoat participated in the fair in Moscow, the Association’s press service said.

The total area of the exposition of textile, sewing and knitting industry enterprises of Uzbekistan was 490 sq.m. The exposition presented a wide range of products from yarn, fabrics, knitwear and terry cloth, to ready-made garments, terry and hosiery products.

Issues of cooperation in promoting the interests of domestic enterprises for participating in the fairs were discussed with the heads of JSC Roslegprom and RLP-Yarmarka.

Negotiations were held with the heads of the retail enterprises "Golfstream" (lingerie stores), "Mladentsam.ru" (clothes for newborns and jersey knitwear), representatives of purchasing departments of large retail chains "X5 Retail Group", "Lenta", "Auchan" "Magnit", "Bolshevik" (retail chain of retail clothing stores), which showed a high interest in establishing direct cooperation with domestic enterprises, subject to availability in warehouses in Russia, cleared and ready for delivery products.

Heads of production enterprises of Svitanak OJSC (Belarus), Shakhloi Vatan Training and Production Center at Guldaston State Unitary Enterprise (Tajikistan), Viva Teks (Kyrgyzstan) and Ruska Vata (Russia) showed high interest in establishing direct cooperation with domestic enterprises, including on the basis of production cooperation.

During the trade fair, contracts and agreements, worth more than US$62 million, were signed for supplying Uzbek textile products.
