Uzbek companies sign contracts for over US$10m at first days of Green Week

International exhibition “Green Week” is one of the largest events in the field of food industry, horticulture, agriculture and forestry. It is expected that the event will attract about 1,800 exhibitors from 60 countries and more than 380,000 visitors.

National stand of Uzbekistan presents food potential of the country, UzAgroExport said.

During the exhibition, the Uzbek companies held talks with foreign companies, including Same Deutz-Fahr (Germany), Euro Asia (Germany), Abgeordnetenhaus (Germany), GlobusMax (Poland), Better International Trade (Great Britain), Urumqi Tongyale International Trade (China), Go Nuts & Fruits F.Z.E (UAE), Florry Business LP (Great Britain), etc.

Foreign companies expressed interest in purchasing fresh and processed fruits and vegetables from Uzbekistan.

In the result of the negotiations, the export contracts for supply of fresh and processed fruits and vegetables for US$10.17 million were signed.

UzAgroExport noted that the work on signing new export contracts within the Green Week 2017 is continuing.
