Uzbek Chefs Compete at the International Young Chef Olympiad

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Representatives of Uzbekistan are participating in the 12th International Young Chef Olympiad (YCO) currently being held in India, accoding to Dunyo news agency.

The prestigious culinary forum brings together young chefs under the age of 25 from 40 countries worldwide. Uzbekistan has consistently demonstrated strong results at the YCO.

In 2025, the national team ranked among the top ten teams globally, confirming the high standard of the country’s culinary school.

This year, Uzbekistan is represented by Ozodbek Odilov from the International Center of Uzbek Culinary Arts under the Uzbekistan Chefs Association. The team is led by head chef Ahmad Khamdamov.

The YCO Olympiad combines competitive challenges, masterclasses, and cultural exchanges, providing opportunities for professional growth for young chefs and promoting Uzbek cuisine on the international stage.
