According to the press service of the Ministry, investments were attracted or used within the 15 projects.
In particular, the ministry attracted US$2.28 million and used US$10.349 million within the project “Sectoral project. Management of water resources in Ferghana and Zarafshan Valleys” with the participation of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The project cost is US$174.1 million, of which the ADB issued US$102.69 million and the Government – US$44.05 million.
Uzbekistan used US$2.059 million within the project “Management of water resources in Ferghana Valley. Phase-1” with participation of the World Bank in the reporting period.
Within the project “Rehabilitation of irrigation network and sewage system in Jizzakh and Syrdarya region”, the investments for US$2.228 million were used. The project is realized within Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, Islamic Development Bank, OPEC International Development Fund.
