US Offers Grants to Promote Agricultural Exports to Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 16 March 2026, the Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) of the US Department of Agriculture announced the availability of three grant opportunities, each valued at US$115,000.
The grants are designed to support American agricultural producers in promoting their products to markets in Uzbekistan and Armenia through marketing tours held in the United States.
These two-week programs aim to educate international buyers on the benefits of American products while facilitating business connections between US industry representatives and import companies from Uzbekistan and Armenia.
Key objectives of the grant-supported tours include increasing exports of American spirits to Uzbekistan by training local buyers on production techniques and quality standards, promoting American soy for animal feed in the Uzbek market, and expanding business opportunities for US agricultural exporters to Armenia in compliance with food safety regulations.
Applications for the programs are accepted until 14 May 2026, Eastern Standard Time (EST). Full funding details and application requirements are available on Grants.gov.
