Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting with representatives of the UAE aviation authorities was held at the Ministry of Transport on 19-20 May 2021.

At the meeting, issues of expanding cooperation between the two countries in the field of civil aviation, increasing the frequency of flights, and establishing air traffic in new directions were discussed in detail.

Following the meeting, the following agreements were reached between representatives of the aviation authorities of the two countries:

Increase the frequency of FlyDubai flights on the Dubai - Tashkent - Dubai route from 5 to 6 flights per week;

Increase in the frequency of flights of Air Arabia PJSC on the Sharjah - Tashkent - Sharjah route from 2 to 3 flights per week;

Air Arabia Abu Dhabi has increased its frequency of flights from 2 to 4 flights per week in the direction of Abu Dhabi-Tashkent-Abu Dhabi.

Also, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi received the right to operate flights to Bukhara and Urgench.

Following the consultation, the parties agreed to further support a constructive dialogue and mutually beneficial cooperation.
