Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A 65-year-old resident of Almazar district of Tashkent was diagnosed with COVID-19 and was placed in a multidisciplinary clinic of the Tashkent Medical Academy.

The man was treated for coronary heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

The patient underwent online consultations and specialist consultations, the treatment process was carried out in accordance with the established standards.

The patient, whose condition worsened due to complications of the disease against the background of concomitant diseases, died of acute respiratory and cardiovascular failure, despite full-scale standard resuscitation measures carried out by specialists.

A 39-year-old man, a resident of Yunusabad district of Tashkent, was diagnosed with COVID-19 on July 6 and admitted to the clinic of the Virological Research Institute.

He was diagnosed with severe COVID-19 infection and bilateral pneumonia. The disease was accompanied by complications of acute myocardial infarction, acute respiratory and cardiovascular failure, multiple organ failure.

During the treatment of the patient in the hospital, online consultations and consultations of medical specialists were carried out, the treatment process was carried out on the recommendation of specialists.

However, despite intensive resuscitation procedures performed by doctors, he died of acute respiratory and cardiovascular failure.
