Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Twelve patients recovered from coronavirus infection in the infectious diseases hospital of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. With the participation of officials of the Ministry of Health of the Republic, they were transferred for rehabilitation.

All recovering are from Karakalpakstan (7 - from the city of Nukus, 3 - from Kungrad region, 1 each from Moinak and Kanlykul regions) and all became infected as a result of contact with patients. Among the patients there are 6 men and the same number of women, the oldest of them is 67 years old, and the youngest is born in 2018. Thanks to effective treatment procedures, laboratory tests today showed that they have completely recovered.

To this day, 50 patients have been cured of coronaviruses in Karakalpakstan, and now their number reached 62.

To date, 1,017 people have completely recovered from coronavirus infection throughout the country.
