Transfermarkt Raises Eldor Shomurodov’s Market Value to €7 Million After Successful Season with İstanbul Başakşehir
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Transfermarkt has updated the market values of players competing in the Turkish Süper Lig. Currently, three Uzbek national team players participate in the Turkish championship.
The largest increase was recorded for forward Eldor Shomurodov of İstanbul Başakşehir. One of the league’s top scorers, Shomurodov’s value rose by €2 million, bringing his current market price to €7 million.
Shomurodov, who moved to Istanbul from Italian club Roma, has quickly become a key offensive force for his team. In his debut season, he is among the main contenders for the league’s Golden Boot. Across 28 matches in all competitions — league and cup — he scored 17 goals and provided 4 assists.
Another player from the same club, winger Abbosbek Fayzullaev, retained his market value of €7 million. Fayzullaev joined Başakşehir from CSKA Moscow during the summer transfer window. In 22 matches across all competitions, he scored 3 goals and provided 5 assists. Shomurodov and Fayzullaev are currently the most valuable players at İstanbul Başakşehir.
Rizespor defender Husniddin Alikulov also saw no change in value, remaining at €1.5 million. The 26-year-old player was injured on 19 January 2026 in a match against Göztepe, suffering an anterior cruciate ligament tear in his left knee, patellar subluxation, damage to the medial patellofemoral ligament, and tears of both menisci. Recovery is expected to take 6–9 months.
The total market value of Uzbek players in the Turkish Süper Lig is estimated at approximately €1.37 billion. The league’s most expensive player is Galatasaray forward Victor Osimhen (€75 million), followed by Fenerbahçe midfielder Matteo Guendouzi (€28 million) and Galatasaray’s Barış Alper Yılmaz (€26 million).
