Total capital of non-banking credit organizations exceeds 137.9 bn soums

Aggregate assets of the non-banking credit organizations as of 1 July 2016 made up about 137.9 billion soums, which rose by 54% compared to the same period of 2015.
According to the Central Bank of Uzbekistan, the balance of credit portfolio of the non-banking credit organizations rose by 60% year-on-year and exceeded 122.1 billion soums. Total capital rose by 55% and reached 104.1 billion soums.
As of 1 July 2016, some 74 micro credit organizations and pawnshops are operating in all regions of Uzbekistan.
