Inflation in Uzbekistan makes up 4.2% in Jan-Sep

Growth of consumer price index in Uzbekistan made up 4.2% in January-September 2010, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.

Some 4.408 bn passengers transported in Uzbekistan in Jan-Sep

Number of transported passengers by all types of transports increased by 6.5% year-on-year in January-September 2010 to 4.408 billion persons. The passenger turnover increased by 9.3% to 55.7 billion pass-km, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.

Over 869.3 million tonnes of cargoes transported in Uzbekistan in nine months of 2010

In January-September 2010, over 869.3 million tonnes of cargoes were carried by all types of transport, or grew by 11.5% year-on-year. The freight turnover decreased by 2.9% and made up 55.4 billion t-km, the Uzbek State Statistics Committee said.

Some 1.832 trln soums directed to housing construction in Jan-Sep

The agriculture output of Uzbekistan reached 11.182 trillion soums in January-September 2010 (+7.8% year-on-year), of which 6.319 trillion soums fell to share of output of plant-growing (+9.4%) and 4.863 trillion soums - animal husbandry (6%).
