Three people died in road accident on Shahrisabz-Karshi highway

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Three people were killed in a traffic accident with a military truck, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan said.

Today, at about 8:05 am, an accident involving a Lacetti car and military truck ZIL-131 occurred on the Shahrisabz-Karshi road.

As a result of an accident, the driver and two passengers of the car died. Another Lacetti passenger was injured. Medical assistance was provided to the passenger, his condition is stable and nothing threatens his life.

Accident happened while conducting a comprehensive test of the combat readiness of the Ministry of Defense troops.

The press service of the Ministry of Defense noted that the driver of the Lacetti car continued to move, despite instructions from employees of the military road inspection, and collided with a military truck ZIL-131.
