The United States Deported 39 Uzbek Citizens

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On Sunday, 7 September, the United States carried out a flight returning 39 Uzbek citizens who did not have legal status to remain in the U.S., the U.S. Embassy in Tashkent said in a statement.

According to the embassy, this flight is part of the United States’ ongoing efforts to strengthen national border controls.

The statement emphasized that the U.S. remains committed to combating illegal immigration, protecting borders, and ensuring the safety of its citizens. Individuals found in the country in violation of immigration laws are detained and subject to deportation.

The embassy also expressed gratitude to Uzbekistan for its active cooperation in the deportation procedures.
