Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In accordance with the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 9 March 2017 No. PP-2822 and from 3 November 2017 No. PP-3373, Uzbekneftegaz is implementing the Program to increase hydrocarbon production for 2017-2021.

The project is aimed at further maintaining and increasing the volume of hydrocarbon production through accelerated construction of wells and facilities in promising areas and fields, as well as their construction by attracting foreign investment and modern technologies.

As part of the Program, the Uchkyr booster compressor station was commissioned with a design capacity of 5 billion cubic meters of natural gas per year.

Construction was carried out by Enter Engineering RTE. LTD (Singapore). The cost of capital investments was US$78.3 million.

Within the framework of this project, Siemens AG (Germany) supplied two compressor units of the STS-SV (10-5-A) type with a gas turbine drive of the SGT-400 15 MW ISO type.

The supply of separation equipment was provided from PRC by supplier JEREH.

Air coolers were manufactured and supplied by the Russian manufacturer BorMash LLC.

The commissioning of this facility will increase the daily production of natural gas by 2.0 million cubic meters per day.
