Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Resolution of the President “On measures to radically improve the system of rendering postal services” was adopted.

Document defines the main directions of improving the system of rendering postal services.

According to the document, in particular, it is provided:

introduction of the "last mile" mechanism regarding the activities of providing postal and courier services in cooperation with domestic and foreign companies;

doubling the number of services for the reception and delivery of "hybrid postal" items;

creation of an information system of an electronic trading platform, which provides an opportunity for online sales and delivery of products of domestic manufacturers to customers;

doubling the types of financial services, in particular, for receiving payments from the population, as well as establishing the provision of banking services on the basis of outsourcing at least in 1,000 post offices of the republic, especially in remote and hard-to-reach areas;

establishing the provision of public services in post offices located in remote and inaccessible areas.
