Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The 7th International Online Conference "Oil Refining and Petrochemistry of the Caspian and Central Asia" will be held on 14 October 2020.

The international conference "Oil Refining and Petrochemistry of the Caspian and Central Asia" is the leading industry event for oil refining and petrochemicals in the region. This year the conference will be held with the official support and direct participation of Uzbekneftegaz.

In the current conditions, when the pandemic has a serious negative impact on the world economy, work continues in Uzbekistan on the sustainable development of industry.

Uzbekneftegaz is undergoing extensive transformation, the main goal of which is the further development of the oil and gas sector and the full disclosure of the existing potential of the industry.

One of the ambitious tasks set by the company is the effective monetization of hydrocarbons into products with high added value and with the transformation of resource energy into the energy of prosperity for the benefit of the population and economy of Uzbekistan.

Uzbekneftegaz plans to implement over 17 projects in 2019-2025 for a total of US$30.7 billion, a third of which are direct investments.

In connection with the pandemic, the conference will be held online.
