Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The second stage of the construction of the surface metro in Tashkent will be completed in 2021. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev stated this in his message to parliament.

According to him, in 2021, the second stage of the construction of the overground metro will be completed in the capital and a 12 km section will be commissioned.

The head of Uzbekistan noted that underground and surface metro lines will be connected. As a result, a unified system will be formed.
