Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On additional measures to improve the procedure for the provision of metrological services in the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted.
The resolution approved the rules for conducting state tests of measuring instruments.
According to the document, within the framework of state metrological control and supervision, it is allowed to use measuring instruments of an approved type included in the State Register of Measuring Instruments of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
State tests of measuring instruments are carried out in relation to measuring instruments developed and (or) intended for serial production, and measuring instruments produced and (or) imported into the territory of Uzbekistan in batches.
Work on the state testing of measuring instruments is paid by the applicants in accordance with the contract.
The duration of state tests should not exceed 25 working days.
In case of positive results of state tests of measuring instruments, the contractor within 2 working days sends documents containing the results of state tests of measuring instruments to the Agency "Uzstandart". Agency "Uzstandart" approves the type of measuring instrument and registers it in the register.
An accredited body of the state metrological service, headed by the Uzstandart Agency, is considered the executor.
The validity of the certificate of type approval of measuring instruments is 5 years.
The requirements of these rules are mandatory for all persons who use measuring instruments in the field of state metrological control and supervision.
