Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Regulation on licensing activities in the field of atomic energy use was approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan.

According to the Regulation, activities in the field of atomic energy use are licensed by the State Committee for Industrial Safety.

A license is issued only to legal entities to carry out established activities for an unlimited period.

To obtain a license, applicants apply to the State Committee for Industrial Safety.

A fee at the size of fourfold of the basic estimated values is charged for consideration of the application.

The decision to issue or refuse to issue a license is made within a period not exceeding 30 days from the date of receipt of the application (except for the timing of organizing and conducting an examination of the safety justification).

The decision to issue or refuse to issue a license is made within 10 days from the date of completion of the safety justification examination.

For the issuance of a license, a state fee is levied in the amount of tenfold of the basic estimated values.
