Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Regional Exhibition of Innovative Ideas and Developments was held at the “Clinic for Privatization and Rehabilitation of Enterprises” in the city of Karshi.

The exhibition is organized jointly by Uzbekneftegaz and the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya khokimiyats.

The exhibition is organized with the aim of developing youth start-up projects, increasing the innovative potential of the regions, training qualified personnel that meet modern requirements, as well as providing the regions with high-quality high-tech products and services. It focused on deepening the integration of science, education and production.

The exhibition presented projects developed by more than 40 domestic manufacturers, organizations, universities and centers of innovative technologies, private entrepreneurs. At the exhibition, contracts were signed with the authors of the developments, which will serve to solve problems in the regions, develop industries based on innovative technologies.

Along with this, at the initial stage, projects were identified to introduce innovative ideas and developments into the sphere, presented by specialists from the Department of Localization and Expansion of Cooperation and the Department of Prospective Business Development of Uzbekneftegaz. Negotiations were held on their comprehensive support, in turn, on conducting production tests for the implementation of projects into practice.

As part of the negotiations, scientists of higher educational and research institutes were shown the needs of Uzbekneftegaz enterprises in innovative developments, and the innovation development department answered questions from scientists and specialists.

The exhibition was attended by 68 types of developments from 12 higher educational and research institutions of Surkhandarya and Kashkadarya regions and 45 types of products from 15 business entities.
