Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Ulukbek Maripov, as part of a working trip to the Republic of Uzbekistan, visited the Yashnabad innovation technology park and IT-Park in the city of Tashkent.
The Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Ulukbek Maripov and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov visited the exhibition hall of products, inspected production workshops and pavilions with products produced in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The members of the delegation were introduced to a group of industrial enterprises "Technopark" of six high-tech factories for the production of gas meters, industrial air conditioners and cooling systems, water pumps, elevators and escalators.
In addition, the members of the delegation got acquainted with the export potential of the products manufactured here and talked with the heads of the enterprises of the technopark, who spoke about plans to open new production facilities.
This technopark is a group of industrial enterprises focused on the creation of high-tech industries, export-oriented and import substitution.
Prime Minister Ulukbek Maripov noted the high results in the industrial production of the Yashnabad Technopark and wished him further development.
Further, the Prime Minister and members of the Kyrgyz delegation visited the Technological Park of software products and information technologies.
The innovation town has incubation and acceleration programs to support promising start-up projects in such areas as: information technology, financial technology, e-commerce, e-education and biotechnology.
The delegation members were also presented with an automated ambulance control system.
In addition, the heads of the delegation visited the site, where they were presented with a project for the construction of a future IT-town.
The Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Ulukbek Maripov arrived in the city of Tashkent to participate in the IX meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Bilateral Cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Uzbekistan, which will be held tomorrow, on 26 March 2021.
There are 6 production facilities on the territory of Technopark:
- electronic gas meters;
- household refrigerators with an annual capacity of 1 million refrigerators.
- industrial air conditioners and refrigeration systems with a production capacity of about 80 thousand units;
- elevators and escalators with a capacity of 2500 pieces of equipment per year;
- water pumps, which are produced annually about 550 thousand units;
- molds and dies with a capacity of 200 units per year.
