Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The tax authorities continue to actively fulfill the tasks assigned to them to attract the population to entrepreneurship and legalize labor activity. This was reported by the press service of the State Tax Committee.

According to the simplified procedure for self-employment, it is planned to register 350,000 citizens by the end of the year. As of 16 July 2020, the number of citizens registered as self-employed reached 146,234.

In terms of regions, the leadership is held by the Bukhara region - 20,713 self-employed persons.

In the following positions:

- Namangan region - 18,543;

- Samarkand region - 18 366;

- Tashkent city - 14 444;

- Ferghana region - 12 518.

What types of activities are the population interested in?

Of the 67 activities permitted for self-employed persons, the greatest attention

- in the field of consumer services (hairdressing, manicure, cosmetology, pedicure, washing and ironing at home, making keys, sewing shoes, repairing and painting, etc.) - 40 484 (+ 10 722 compared to July 13) self-employed;

- provision of services in the field of agriculture (cattle grazing and care, assistance to owners of household plots for planting and caring for agricultural crops) - 20 690 (+ 10 945) self-employed;

- production of consumer goods and the service sector (sale of bread, popcorn at home, ice cream, salads, soft drinks, ayran, gushi and trade in agricultural products in dekhkan markets) - 25 774 (+5 338) self-employed;

- provision of services in the industrial sector (wooden architecture, plumbing, electrical installation, collection of waste paper, plastic, scrap metal and others) - 24 787 (+ 8 399) self-employed;

- the sphere of social services (tutoring at home, babysitting and care, housekeeping, cleaning of premises, traditional medicine and others) - 23 276 (+ 8 682) self-employed.

- ICT services (activities in social networks, development of software, mobile applications and websites, creation and processing of text) - 2,212 (+595) self-employed.

Income earned by self-employed persons as a result of labor activity is not included in the income of individuals.

People can join self-employed persons by registering in the Soliq mobile application or on the my.soliq.uz website, pay social tax for 2020, 111,500 soums and get work experience.
