Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan will hold the first Youth Forum of the fuel and energy complex on 19-23 May 2021.

This initiative was first announced during the meeting of the Minister of Energy Alisher Sultanov with young specialists of the fuel and energy complex, which took place on February 27 this year in the city of Shirin, Syrdarya region.

During the communication, young specialists and students came up with a number of proposals and initiatives aimed at establishing close ties between future specialists and young people already working in the fuel and energy sector, exchange of experience, initiatives, ideas. In accordance with these proposals, the Minister of Energy gave instructions to organize a Youth Forum and other events aimed at supporting creative and motivated youth.

Representatives of young people from neighboring countries: the Russian Federation, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic will ensure the unofficial status of the International Forum "Energy of Youth".

This year, the Ministry of Energy for the first time receives delegations of representatives of joint-stock companies and organizations in the energy industry - the most talented and active young people in various professions and social activities. The total number of Forum participants will be more than 500 people, including students studying in educational institutions in the fuel and energy sector.

The forum will be held in order to identify socially active, talented youth, improve their professional and creative competencies, assist in organizing cooperation between representatives of youth assets of societies and organizations in the energy industry, representative offices of foreign companies and trade unions, aimed at consolidating common efforts in solving urgent issues of youth ...

The development of the energy sector of the republic depends, among other things, on the efforts and successes of the youth of the industry. The slogan "Harmonious youth is a strong support of the country!" defined by the central idea of the Forum. As part of its implementation, youth will be offered master classes in the following areas: "Career", "Personal growth and self-development", "Leadership", "Social activity", etc.

Forum participants will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the key features of working with youth in the Ministry of Energy and present the activities in the field of youth policy of their societies and organizations. In addition, excursions to the oil and gas and energy facilities of the Kashkadarya region will be held for young people.

It should be noted that since the beginning of this year, scientific conferences, trainings, master classes, as well as sports events for young people have begun. They are organized by the Ministry of Energy, together with the Republican Council of the Trade Union of Workers of the Energy, Oil and Gas Industries and Geology of Uzbekistan, organizations of the fuel and energy complex and specialized institutes. In addition, plans are being developed to organize study tours for young people in the sector to the country's fuel and energy facilities, as well as tours aimed at developing domestic tourism.

For the Forum participants, discussions will be organized on the formation of a single corporate culture among young people, the development of professional, technical, corporate and management skills of young professionals, their involvement in innovative, research and project activities, the study of the problems of young professionals and their joint solution.

The result of the forum will be the final program document reflecting the proposals of the participants of thematic platforms aimed at promoting the central idea of the event.
