Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A meeting was held at the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan with a delegation of PJSC TATNEFT led by General Director Nail Maganov. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.

As Minister of Energy Alisher Sultanov noted during the negotiations, PJSC TATNEFT is an important partner of Uzbek companies in implementing investment projects in the fuel and energy complex.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of a number of investment projects, including geological exploration at the investment blocks of Uzbekistan, intensification of oil production, expansion of the network of Tatneft gas stations in Tashkent.

The parties also agreed on further actions to accelerate the implementation of the project "Second stage of the production of tires and other products" at LLC Birinci Rezinotekhnika Zavody, located in the Free Economic Zone Angren.

Another side of cooperation is the professional development of specialists. In particular, with the assistance of PJSC Tatneft in March of this year geologists, specialists in the development of oil and gas fields and a number of other areas from Uzbekistan will undergo professional training in Russia.

During the talks, the parties noted mutual interest in the practical implementation of the agreements reached to further expand and strengthen bilateral cooperation.
