Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan has denied rumors about the cessation of electricity supplies to cement production enterprises.
According to the ministry, the supply of electricity to these plants did not stop.
The Ministry of Energy notes that the message about the termination of electricity supplies to cement production enterprises appeared on one of the Telegram channels.
“Without contacting competent sources to confirm or refute the rumors, simply writing “according to the network”, the author of this Telegram channel indicates specific cement production enterprises and reports that they have “stopped supplying electricity,” the ministry said.
According to the dispatch center, on 24 November, the Akhangaran cement plant received 605,000 kWh of electricity. On average, this plant is supplied with 540,000 kWh of electricity per day.
The Kuvasay cement plant consumes an average of 332,000 kWh electricity per day.
