Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 25 August, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in India held a videoconference meeting with Manoj Chug, member of the Board of Directors of Mahindra Group, one of the largest concerns in India.

The representative of the Indian concern emphasized the huge potential of the Uzbek economy in mechanical engineering, agriculture, construction and many other areas. He noted that the relevant companies that are part of the Mahindra Group have specific plans to explore the possibilities of cooperation with Uzbek partners in the field of agricultural machinery production, agricultural processing, ICT, renewable energy, etc.

Manoj Chug expressed the readiness of the representatives of the concern to conduct relevant marketing research in cooperation with Uzbek experts and conduct detailed negotiations in the near future, visiting Uzbekistan and exploring opportunities on the ground.

Mahindra Group, which has gone through 75 years of development, now covers more than 10 advanced industries and has about 60 large manufacturing plants around the world.

More than 250,000 people are employed in sectors such as automotive, agricultural machinery and equipment, metallurgy, renewable energy, ICT, construction, defense and logistics. In particular, agricultural machinery and vehicles produced by the enterprises of the Mahindra Group hold strong positions not only in India, but also in the markets of a number of countries, in particular, economically developed countries of the world.
