Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A presidential resolution “On measures to organize the activities of the Cadastre Agency under the State Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted.

In accordance with the resolution, in the system of the Cadastre Agency under the State Tax Committee:

Karakalpak Republican, regional, Tashkent city administrations and district (city) departments;

The Chamber of State Cadastres and its Karakalpak Republican, regional, Tashkent city administrations and district (city) branches;

Republican Aerogeodetic Center;

Geodetic Surveillance Office.

By the resolution, the State Cartographic and Geodetic Fund under the Inspectorate of State Geodetic Supervision was transferred to the departmental subordination of the Cadastre Agency.

The State Unitary Enterprise “Analytical Center for the Quality, Composition and Repository of Soils” was transferred to the Ministry of Agriculture, the Research Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry - to the Scientific and Production Center of Agriculture and Food Supply under the Ministry of Agriculture.

According to the resolution, the Fund for the Development of Land Relations and State Cadastre was transformed into the Extra-budgetary Fund of the Cadastre Agency.

The Cadastre Agency is headed by the First Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Committee - the Director of the Cadastre Agency, appointed and dismissed by the President.

The resolution established an Interdepartmental Working Group on the formation of state cadastres.

Achievement of target indicators for inventory and entry into the National Geographic Information System of objects of state cadastres is determined by the main task of the Interdepartmental Working Group.

Until 1 December 2020, the authorized bodies for maintaining state cadastres will be integrated with the National Geographic Information System.

According to the resolution, a draft law "On state registration of rights to real estate" will be developed.
