Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ministry of Justice has sent humanitarian aid to victims of a dam in Sardoba reservoir in Syrdarya region, the press service of the Ministry reported.
The first trucks with humanitarian cargo left Tashkent. Large families, families with disabilities, as well as the elderly received sets of food products, essential goods. This is one of the events planned in the program of the charity event of the Ministry of Justice “Salom Sardoba, Biz Birgamiz” (“Hello, Sardoba, we are together”).
It is noted that some of the evacuated citizens are placed in law colleges. The necessary conditions have been created for them: places for rest, hot meals, medical care. In particular, 500 residents of the villages of Sardob of the Akaltynsky district and Yoshlar of the Mirzaabad district, including 200 minors, are housed in the building of the Syrdarya Region College of Law.
In addition, the ministry plans to attract sponsors to raise funds for the victims, including national and foreign partners.
The Agency for Public Services is also actively involved in charitable activities. In the near future, the provision by the centers of state services of off-site gratuitous services will be established.
