Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz Mehriddin Abdullayev met with the executive vice president of Gazprombank Vyacheslav Okhotin.

Gazprombank is a strategic partner of Uzbekneftegaz in financing large investment projects aimed at increasing the production and processing of hydrocarbons.

In particular, Gazprombank allocated more than US$1.3 billion for the implementation of projects in the oil and gas industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan, including "Production of synthetic liquid fuel based on purified methane at ShGKhK", "Expansion of the production capacity of ShGKhK", blocks Sechankul, Akdzhar and Chimbay, development of the fields of Urga, Akchalak and Chandir groups ", as well as" Stage I of the Program to increase hydrocarbon production for 2017-2021 ".

At the same time, Uzbekneftegaz and Gazprombank do not stop at the achieved results and continue to develop new areas of cooperation.

Thus, the parties are actively cooperating in organizing the financing of the second stage of the "Program for increasing hydrocarbon production for 2017–2021" and the “Exploration and Drilling Programs for 2021–2022”.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the state of agreeing on the main conditions for attracting loans from Gazprombank for the implementation of the above-mentioned projects and identified further joint steps.

It should be noted that all the work carried out is aimed at increasing the production of hydrocarbons for the timely provision of the population and economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan with energy resources.
