The Ambassador of Uzbekistan Discusses Development of Economic Cooperation with Polish State Secretary
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Ambassador of Uzbekistan, Amirsayid Agzamkhodzhaev, held a meeting with Michał Jarosz, State Secretary of the Ministry of Development and Technology of Poland and Co-Chair of the Uzbek-Polish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, Dunyo news agency reported.
During the discussion, both sides noted the positive dynamics of trade, economic, and investment cooperation between the two countries. Michał Jarosz emphasized that 2025 has become a pivotal year in the history of Uzbek-Polish relations and expressed readiness to support the implementation of Third Renaissance initiatives within the framework of developing the New Uzbekistan.
Special attention was given to the phased implementation of agreements reached at the 8th session of the Uzbek-Polish Intergovernmental Commission, as well as to the outcomes of the business forum held in Tashkent in February 2025.
It was noted that the opening of a representative office of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) in Tashkent will create new opportunities for both Polish companies and Uzbek entrepreneurs, facilitating access to new markets and fostering mutually beneficial economic cooperation.
The meeting also addressed the current state and prospects for cooperation in pharmaceuticals, agriculture, and veterinary sectors, as well as issues of interregional collaboration.
