TezCard introduces automated fare collection system in public transport of Ferghana

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- TezCard launched the modern automated fare collection system (ASOP) in the public transport of Ferghana.

The TEZCARD project coverage map is expanding, as promised earlier. And the next city in which the successful launch of the TEZCARD system was realized was Ferghana. This project will provide residents and guests of Ferghana with a convenient and modern payment in almost all areas.

The implemented TezCard system is an innovative and modern solution for prompt and convenient payment for public transport, which has greatly simplified payment procedures and solved problems related to the payment and accounting of passengers.

For the convenience of passengers, the fare payment procedure is maximally simplified: it is enough to attach a TezCard card to a special terminal (validator). In a matter of seconds, information is exchanged with the terminal, as a result of which funds are debited from the card account. After payment, a receipt is printed on the terminal to confirm the operation. This check is recommended to keep until the end of the trip.

Previously, this system was launched in Samarkand and began to show excellent results: facilities were created for both passengers and transport companies:

• reduction of time for settlement with passengers;
• increasing fundraising growth;
• increase the transparency of all operations;
• the possibility of collecting statistical data.

The company is actively developing, and the TezCard system will be constantly improved. Also in the near future it is planned to launch the replenishment of cards through various payment systems, which will significantly increase the convenience and efficiency of using this type of payment.
