Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 25 August to 2 September, an online business forum “Made in Uzbekistan. Textile "with the participation of leading textile companies of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijani enterprises and retailers, Dunyo news agency reported.

The forum was organized by the Export Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Uztekstilprom Association together with the Embassy of our country in Azerbaijan with the support of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Export and Investment Promotion Fund in Azerbaijan, the Caspian Event Organizers company.

Caspian Event Organizers have prepared a special web platform for holding bilateral meetings in an online format.

The main goal of the forum is to create opportunities for manufacturers of export-oriented textile products to find a new distributor, expand a partner network, and create joint ventures with Azerbaijani companies.

Representatives of about 30 textile companies from Uzbekistan took part in the work of the forum, and representatives of Azerbaijan - 20. Within the framework of the forum, more than 70 meetings were held.

During the online events, the parties discussed promising areas of cooperation in the textile sector, exchanged experiences and information on modern trends in this area, and agreed to regularly hold such meetings.

The parties noted the great potential of the textile companies of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.

Earlier, bilateral meetings between companies from Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan took place in June 2020.
