Teacher, who collected money for a subscription with use of violence, dismissed

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --Teacher of school No. 3 of Buvayda district of Ferghana region was relieved of her post for insulting, humiliating and beating of students.

Earlier, the Uzbek media reported that the class leaders of the school number 3 of Buvayda district require money for various purposes, including subscription to periodicals. Also, some teachers insulted, humiliated and beat students who did not bring money.

The control and legal service of the Minister of Public Education initiated a check on the data published in the media.

The inpection results showed that on 16 November 2018 the class teacher of the 7-B class of R.M. committed unlawful actions against two students of this school during an hour of spirituality, since they did not provide money for subscriptions to periodicals.

According to the order of the head of the Ferghana regional department of public education, the class teacher of the 7-B class R.M. and deputy director of spiritual and educational work Kh.A. were dismissed.

The director of school No. 3 of Buvayda district of Ferghana region, R. A., was brought to disciplinary punishment.

The Ferghana Regional Department of Public Education, in cooperation with the local hokimiyat, also will resolve the issue of supplying coal or coal briquette to an educational institution.

The Ministry of Public Education condemned all forms of violence and encourages teachers, students and their parents to be restrained and to resolve conflicts without assault.

The Ministry of Public Education also called on school staff to stop informal gathering of money from parents of students for various purposes.
