Tashkent to host Uzbek-Tajik intergovernmental commission’s session

Next session of the intergovernmental commission on trade-economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan will be held in Tashkent in June 2015, according to the Tajik mass media.
ASIA-Plus reported that Tajik side directed several proposals to Uzbekistan on lifting relations of two states in January 2015.
In particular, Tajikistan proposed to resume flights between Tashkent and Dushanbe, bus communication between cities of two states and simplify visa procedures for the citizens of two nations.
The intergovernmental commission on trade-economic cooperation held two sessions so far: first – in Dushanbe on 22 August 2002 and second – in Dushanbe on 18 February 2009.
