Tashkent to host SCO RATS meeting
At the session, the sides will consider issues of fighting terrorism organizations, cooperation of the SCO member states in fighting terrorism, separatism and extremism in 2016-2018.
The sides will discuss holding joint drills in revealing and eliminating use of internet for terrorism purposes.
The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) is a permanent intergovernmental international organisation creation of which was proclaimed on 15 June 2001 in Shanghai (China) by the Republic of Kazakhstan, the People’s Republic of China, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
India Iran, Mongolia and Pakistan have observer status at the SCO. Belarus, Turkey and Sri Lanka are dialogue partners of the SCO.
