Tashkent Metro Transports Record 286.8 Million Passengers in 2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In 2025, the capital’s metro system carried more than 286 million passengers, setting a new record.

According to preliminary data from the National Statistics Committee, a total of 286.8 million people used the metro over the year, representing a 6.1% increase compared to 2024.

On average, the metro served approximately 785,600 passengers daily.

Passenger traffic has shown rapid growth over the past years: 38.8 million in 2020, 101.8 million in 2021, 136.7 million in 2022, 172 million in 2023, 270.3 million in 2024, and 286.8 million in 2025.
