Uzbekistan Today reported that Tashkent State Law Institute reorganized into university in line with the decision of the Uzbek leader.

The report said that reorganization of the university was carried out stage-by-stage in last several years. It added that some Uzbek universities stopped to provide education in law.

Currently, Karakalpak State University, University of World Economy and Diplomacy and Tashkent State Law University offer education in law.

It is worth to mention that the first deputy justice minister Yesemurat Kanyazov has been appointed as rector of the University on 28 June.
