Suspect in murder of Rakhmatilla Mirzayev arrested
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Law enforcement body of Uzbekistan arrested a young man, 21, who is suspected in killing prominent announcer of Uzbek TV Rakhmatilla Mirzayev, the pres service of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Uzbekistan said.
According to the ministry, body of Rakhmatilla Mirzayev with many knife wounds was found in the yard of his house in the morning of 2 March 2015 in territory of Chigatoy-Oqtepa of Zangiata district.
The law enforcement bodies arrested a young man at the age of 21, who live in Chuvalachi of Zangiata district, in the result of adopted measures. The ministry did not disclose name of the arrested person.
During examination of his house, the officers of the law enforcement bodies found evidences. Suspect was arrested.
Interior Ministry opened criminal case on the fact. Currently, investigators are establishing motives and reasons of the crime.
