Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Surkhandarya region will receive 1.9 trillion soums to improve infrastructure. This was announced by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The head of Uzbekistan also listed growth points in Surkhandarya region. In his opinion, the processing of agricultural products, the production of building materials, medical tourism will ensure the growth of the region’s economy.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev proposed to exempt new enterprises in four districts from taxes. In particular, the President proposed to vacate new enterprises in Bandikhan, Kyzyrik, Muzrabat and Sherabad districts by 1 January 2024.

They will be exempted from taxes on land, property, turnover tax on small businesses, flat income tax for individual entrepreneurs.
